The Ocean 2000 was created by Ferdinand A. Porsche in 1982. With its avant-garde design, the extremely pressure-resistant diver's watch was years ahead of its time. This engineering tour de force was made possible partly by the improved shape of the titanium case. Characteristic design codes such as the black dial, luminescent hands and indices and the red tip on the seconds hand were inspired by the Ocean 2000.
